About me
Robin Trujillo, MSN RN is the Deputy Immunization Branch Chief for the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, where she oversees clinical resources, education, and outreach to Colorado-based immunization providers and assists with strategic planning and program management for the state’s immunization program. Robin has nearly two decades of public health nursing and leadership experience working for both local and state agencies in immunization, communicable disease, family planning, and emergency preparedness. Robin earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and a master’s degree in nursing leadership from the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus. She began her career as a post-surgical nurse for a large hospital system in Colorado Springs before transitioning into local and later state public health. Outside of working to improve the health of all Coloradans, Robin spends her time chasing busy teenage kids to their many sports activities and enjoying the great Colorado outdoors.
