About me
Matt Jackson has worked in the Office of Public Health Practice, Planning, & Local Partnerships
(OPHP) at the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) since 2021,
including taking on the Director role in February, 2025. Matt has spent his time at CDPHE
working to improve the Public Health System across Colorado. This includes leading the
CDPHE Academic Health Department collaboration with the School of Public Health. Prior to
working at CDPHE he worked in local public health agencies in Colorado and Minnesota for
over 15 years. His local work focused on assessment and planning as well as policy, system,
and environmental change initiatives with a variety of sectors.
